Mirko has handled a large number of cases related to shipping and marine claims, arrest of vessels and personal injury claims involving crew members, stevedores and passengers connected with major casualties, such as the Costa Concordia disaster.

He assists shipyards, owners and brokers in a wide variety of yacht-related matters, including ship building, sale and purchase, refit, repair and charter contracts.

Mirko’s assistance is often sought by P&I Clubs with respect to legal and regulatory compliance of insurance covers, including covers for risks of pollution and bodily injuries caused by navigation of yachts in the Italian territorial waters.

Mirko is admitted to the Court of Cassation. He is author of articles for “Diritto Marittimo” and speaks at national and international conventions on issues regarding his specific areas of expertise.
