Our Francesco Gasparini participated last Friday, 14 June, in the event organised by AIJA – International Association of Young Lawyers in Malta entitled ‘Setting sails in turbulent times’.

During the session ‘Accommodating unpredictable events in supply and transportation contracts’, moderated by Gustavo Flausino Coelho, Francesco discussed the importance of having proper Force Majeure and War Risks clauses incorporated in shipping contracts in order to tackle the problems of defining the triggering events and allocating the consequent costs and risks.

Together with other leading lawyers, Dorian Gasser, Pepijn Hamer, Łukasz Chwalczuk, Geraldo Fonseca, they discussed the growing influence of unpredictable events on supply chains and transport contracts.
