The Authority for the regulation of transports, the Italian body responsible for the enforcement of EU Regulation no. 1177/2010, on 15.10.2015 issued its Regulation on the procedure to sanction any violation to the provisions of EU Regulation no. 1177/2010 of the European Parliament and the Council concerning the rights of passengers when travelling by sea and inland waterways. The relevant sanctions are governed by Legislative Decree no. 129 of 29.7.2015.
