Italian law No. 190 dated 23^rd December 2014 (“Stability Law”) introduced new important measures on road carriage. First of all, minimum operating costs have been cancelled in accordance with the judgment dated 4^th September 2014 of the European Court of Justice, therefore freight can now be freely agreed by the parties. Furthermore, sub-carriage has been limited; the sender is now obliged to verify that the carrier complied with its contribution, fiscal and insurance obligations and the Transport Card has been eliminated.
